Profile/Areas of Interest :
Keenly interested in global affairs and Singapore's political development
through history, Lawrence pursued these fields while studying in the University
of Calgary. Upon his return, he worked with the then Ministry of Community
Development and later served as a public relations officer with the National
Kidney Foundation, helping to bring awareness to the plight of kidney patients
in Singapore.
Lawrence then went on to further follow his love for global affairs by serving as a Foreign Service officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In his stint in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Lawrence has developed and taught numerous modules including Learning from the 20th Century, Writing an Effective Paper, Communication Toolkit, Ethical Dilemmas, Creativity, Events Management and World Issues: A Singapore Perspective.
