Decommissioning of Lotus Notes Services – 1 Apr 2018
As the Lotus Notes applications have been migrated to alternative platforms, we will proceed to shut down the Lotus Notes servers on 1 Apr 2018.
M:\ Drive services will also be decommissioned as it has been superseded by EasiShare.
1. If you wish to read from your old Lotus Notes archives, please do the following:
a) Backup your Lotus Notes ID file (eg. abc1.id) and write down the password. Keep them securely as they cannot be retrieved once Lotus Notes is shut down.
b) Backup Lotus Notes Archives (.nsf files) if you have old email archives that you wish to access for future reference. c) Forgotten Lotus Notes password? Please approach IT Helpdesk to reset prior to 31 Mar 2018.

2. If you have important files in M:\ drive, copy folders and files from "M:\" drive to
your EasiShare online storage as backup.

NP data should be accessed, processed and stored only from NICE equipment.

Are your data well-protected? Do a self-check:
a) Do you physically secured your notebook and portable storage media at all times?
b) Do you lock your computer screen before walking away from your notebook?
c) Did you have to key in your BitLocker password when you start up your notebook?
d) Do you encrypt your portable storage media (e.g. portable harddisks and
thumbdrives) before storing NP classified data or other personal data on them?
e) Do you set a password on your Excel or Word document containing personal data
before sending them via email?
