Wolfram Alpha is a computational knowledge engine, or more commonly known as answer engine. It was developed by Wolfram Research team to answer questions, perform analysis, and generate reports with externally sourced, curated data.
The user interface resembles a typical search engine to make it easier for users to query mathematical questions, science, history, and even music. Factual information regarding user's query will then be displayed in an organized, report-like manner.
Wolfram|Alpha mobile app is also available for iOS, Android, Kindle and Windows devices.
